CS:S Beta will be released on 10th August 4 all owners of CS:CZ! U can preload the Beta 5 days before on 5th August! The CS:S Beta size is 300MB and there will be 1 map inside de_dust.

CS: Source Pre-delayed

Although the Counter-Strike: Source BETA was initially planned to be pre-loaded on August 5th, that date has been pushed back, according to an e-mail from Jess Cliffe of Valve Software:

Counter-Srike: Source will not start pre-loading on the 5th. We are working extremely hard to get it out and will have more information on this soon.

The CS: Source BETA was scheduled to be made available for play on the 10th. It's unknown, but likely, if that date will be pushed back as well.

Because you can only preload it!!!

It's not meant you can play it... it's meant you can only preload it. You will be able to play it later.

At least, that's what I think is going on.

i could care less about cs:s... what i want is hl:s, of:s, tfc:s, bs:s, dmc:s, r:s, and of course HL2. :)
