Entmod crap

I cant get entmod working! Ive installed metamod and entmod. I also tried to just install entmod. But when i type weapon_entmover, nothing happends.
In DF_admins ive added the line: steam_0:0:2322617;guess;1
In autoexec ive added the line setinfo "_entpass" "guess"
In DF_Config theres the line hl.dll
In libist.gam ive changed to gamedll "addons\entmod\dlls\entmod_mm.dll
Wtf is wrong?

Make sure you type your ID in CAPS e.g. STEAM_0:0:2322617
Try STEAM_ID_LAN

It looks more like you havent installed metamod? In libist.game it should be "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
You then put the entmod_mm.dll in the config for metamod

When i start the server, its says in console: This server is running Ent mod v2 blah blah blah.
But weapon_entmover still doesnt work

Nope, still not working. When i try to load entmod through metamod, all it says in console is that the server is running metamod etc. When i just load the entmod.dll it say that the server is running entmod, but the game crashes everytime i use the barnacle. I still dont get the weapon though.

STEAM_ID_LAN only works when you run a listenserver, so be sure you're running a listenserver before you try using 'LAN.

Something rings bells with me that there is a known problem with certain versions of Metamod and the Barnacle. Take a look on the official Svencoop (http://www.svencoop.com) forum and see if there's anything on there about it as im sure that's where i read about it.

I only have problems with the barnacle when i run entmod without metamod. When i run it with metamod it works like a charm. And Yes, im running a listenserver.

I dont see how entmod runs without installing metamod first. Entmod IS a metamod plugin. Hence the name entmod_mm.dll. MM meaning metamod. Where have you told metamod to load up entmod?

In the libist.gam in the gamedll part you use the entmod_mm.dll instead of the metamod.dll
It works, but it got side effects like game crashing when using barnacle. Cant figure out what the problem is. How about if someone that got entmod working with metamod copies and upload all the files involved so that i can dl them and replace mine? Would be great if someone could do that. :)

I fixed it, your supposed to write STEAM_ID_PENDING;guess;1
STEAM_ID_PENDING is the adress of the host simply. You only use STEAM_0:0:2322617 if you want to add another admin from a diffrent computer.

When ever ive ran a server it always comes up with STEAM_ID_LAN. This is a listening server too.

Somtimes you have to right Setingo "_entpass" "guess" in console even if you have put it in autoexec, when ever it happens to me, i just put it in about 5 times wait 5 seconds and it works fine.

Er. Thats strange. I thought STEAM_ID_LAN worked for LAN games and STEAM_ID_PENDING worked for listen servers? Normal Steam ID for ded servers. God I hate this id system -_-. Good way to ban hackers though.
