I've just ordered my new PC so, come on Valve, no reason to delay now. Release it!!! :D

Actually, my on-line pre-order date has gone from 30th July to 3rd September as from this morning. That's nearly a full 12 month delay from the original "guaranteed" release date of 30th September last year.

Im going to wait until they release the game before i upgrade as i fear your new PC will be a fossil by the time HL2 is released. :grin2:

Ive read today that Valve plan to give HL2 gold to Vivendi in August. That comes from an interview with Gabe.

Ok, you can release it now idd.. my pc is this very good bt my graphics card is a bit old geforce 4200.. played farcry in high res so im not really worried but ill wanne play HL2 in high high res :D

Yeah I got a GeForce 4 Ti 4200. It ran FarCry fine, I think HalfLife2 might push it to its limits, even in a low resolution.

I get an average of 50 fps in Far Cry at 1280x1024 on ultra high settings.

I reckon it'll play HL2 ok :D

Possibly, it goes over 100fps sometimes indoors.

my Far Cry runs ok... on 'High' w/ 1024x768...

I guess HL2 will run ok as well... 'specially with the LOD scaling system.

i dont like far cry all the videos i have seen when u shoot someone there is no blood what are u hittin them with ping pong balls and i dont like thoes wired lookin creatures they creap me out
