Fun isn't Fun.

In case nobody noticed, the thebanlist.com SC server has the map "Fun" in its cycle. A deceiving name. This map is depressing. SK, or any other admin, PLEASE check this map out. It's too small, offers zero fun, and should be removed from the cycle. No offence to whoever made it, but this is one of the most horrible SC maps I've ever played. Please take it out of the cycle. *insert depressed smiley*

Its not in the cycle, it can only be on if its voted on. I dont remove maps unless there is a problem with the map, ie crashing. Reason being it expands the servers variety of maps. I personally hate breakfree, I wont remove it though as others like it.

I used to have abit fun on it at 2.0beta. But today was too much negativity!
The fight club had this map seriously on for hours!!! I couldnt play cuz this map gave me a massive ammount of latency up to not lesser than 900-1000 ping with constant rising text lag from 1 minute. Its ok to play normally, but when it still says dead when I`m alive and can only move one direction is too much. I would hope not to play it like that again ._.

I tried to vote all the time, as many others did. It all the time said vote not successfull, not enough votes to win while i never saw any votes coming up. The lag mustve blocked it all. Since the map didnt change I couldnt have been the only one who suffered :\

But just because you may class them as pointless, others dont... I'm with SK on the Breakfree map, cant stand it tbh... however people are entitled to vote for whatever map they choose.
If you want to keep yourself on the server and carry on playing then you have to put up with other maps that maybe you are not particularly fond of.
I'll be honest, when Breakfree comes on its like the admins have to morph into a kindergarden cop as the select few decide its fun to hook and kill, therefore we tend to spend a lot of the time just floating abt watching ppl, not exactly fun but if people want to play the map then so be it :)

Lol not at all, just saying really that we all have maps we dont like and sometimes we just have to put up with them :) Each to there own so to speak.

Fun maps have never been fun, personally i can't stand them. That aside, i do enjoy barnacle flying :)
