My Map

Iv just finished work on beta1 of my map themepark_1 at the moment its got a spawn area, a working rollercoaster and a bar with soem of my music playing inside :)

i havent got round to gettign any screenshots and ill upload it to my site later (if i havent used up all ym space ;) )

Note: it'd probably be a good idea to jsut put teh full version on teh server, so we dont get trouble over this file differs fromt eh servers :p

Cool new map so are u saying that u get in the coaster and it has a workking lap bar that is cool :D hmm if possible make the best coaster u can :D

dotn complain! its jsut a func_tractrain anyway there is no way my maps as good as x00tixz :( , but in other words yeah i spent a week making the rollercoasther thats on there :P

beliee me its not, this map is quite good for something thats in Beta.
as far as it is in development, this map is pretty good
some slight bugs, i give it a 5/6 out of 10

iv got everything running thats needed including RAD, i think.

well iv started on Beta2!

What i fixed: Iv fixed the path problems in the rollercoaster. Attempted to Fix FPS Problems.

What i added: Iv added a log flume! Added a few secret areas! :D

What i took Away: Removed the button in the bar because if you used it too much it copyd the music track and crashed the server a few times :(

RAD wasnt enabled. but i foudn out why it isnt. it crashes 'Hammer' :(

Don't compile with hammer... compile with ZHLT tools and use the batch compiler.

log flume that was my idea i asked for the caoster 2 go through water :D imange that in hl2 because it has 2 accept the law of boyency it woill slow down and ive been told that the jeep dosent work underwater :O maybe cus water gets in the engine :O

hehe i managed to fix my RAD problem :) and it made my map all dark so iv got lights with switches for diff effects inside the bar the logflumes 90% done and secrets i havent even made an effort at yet :o

But anyway i hope in the next few posts there will end up being a link for beta2 rofl :D

Go to MAP --> MAP PROPERTIES --> MAX VIEWABLE DISTANCE and double the value that already is there.

I think I need to explain why you should increase the max viewable distance...

If you spawn and you look at the other end of the map, it just 'cuts' off the map and you see sky behind it. In order to prevent that... increase the max viewable distance.

Remember the origin brush, its a rotating entitie. And place it either at the top or at bottom, lets see how weird the entitie gets :D
