Just thought i'd let you know that Amazon.co.uk have stated the following with regards HL2:

This item will be released on September 3, 2004

Not sure how reliable this date is but it's

I looked it up on our German amazon.de:

Erscheinungsdatum: 3. Dezember 2004 - Releasedate 3rd December 2004

Seems that we have to wait 3 months longer :(

There still isn't a clear release date... I don't know why they just won't give us a date! I sincerely hope it'll come in September... or sooner :D !

I think Valve have realised they cant stick to release dates and now just say "When its done".

Look at Team Fortress 2 that was nearing completion...5 years ago.

My opinion is that hl² will be released on spring 2005. But thats my opinion :D

I always read my monthly PC Magazine and 1 of the editors flew with some other editors (from england too) to seattle to visit valve. They could play a version of hl² but all 3 levels are the old levels from E³ 2003 version of hl². And during the editors play one of valves programers stood behind them to say where they allowed to go and where they are forbidden to go. The editors nevertheless walked into one of the forbidden zone and what happens?!? The game jumped back to desktop. And there much more things whcih happens in seattle. And thats why my opinion is that hl² will be released in spring 2005 :rolleyes:
