This forum is a great idea for banning people that get passed VAC and/or any other 3rd party anti-hack programs. This site does, however, need some publicity because there are less that 10 posts, it seems. Keep up the good work, and if I find any hackers, I'll be sure to report them, again :D
SK - Is their any way you can get your banlist implemented into VAC, HLGuard, etc. updates? Not only would that make the hackers actually banned, but it might also score some publicity.
*Note: I am most likely going to post a link on my website (www.thursday.com) once I get it operational. This place needs some hits!

I would (not that I know how :p) have to write a database for submissions etc to build a list that generated a banned.cfg for admins to copy to their server. As far as im aware its pretty impossible to get HalfLife in any way to download automatically a list from somewhere. Sadly I think its going to have to remain a manual process. From my understanding HLGuard adds peoples ID's it finds to the banned.cfg on the server its installed on, that way the server admin has some level of control on who’s been banned. VAC is ran totally independent by Valve software and unlike any other anticheat utilities means any server admin cannot see whos been banned from their server. The nice thing about VAC is that its a global ban to all servers that are running it. The worst thing is theres no control if its made a mistake and banned somebody for nothing. I do read frequently on the steam forums about how they have been banned for standard scripts they use rather than any major aimbot or wallhack etc.
Yes the forum is quite empty, but then everywhere has to start somewhere. Im not going to around spamming the link everywhere. Posting on the steam forums gives me the odd few hits and im almost 100% that’s where you came from :)
All I can say is thanks to your submission, it was a perfect example of what we require here to justify a ban. If this project does become popular you can be proud to say you were the first :)
Once again thanks for your support.
