Well i recently applied for a new banck account with a well known high street bank i wont name them, but they know who they are as they had a very angry phone call from me explaining the situation, you know when you receive a new pin for ur online banking / telephone banking / debit card ect its delivered in a secure method with a tamper evident article well i received a new pin for one of my services with said bank but to my surprise i could read the numbers before even opening the tamper proof seal so here is what i found the little grey line at the bottom of box is where i opened it to check and see if the tamper proof seal was working

http://www.cessle.com/stuff/secure.jpg take a look

the image has been doctored for security reasons!!

so the said bank is also going to be receiving an angry me arriving in there branch tomorow morning just reiterate my point

I know with Barclays you first choose two other types of security passwords then they send you the pin. So even if someone has the pin they still don't know the other two passwords.

A few months ago I had someone from Barclays ringing me up asking if I have been trying to withdraw cash from an ATM in India. Seems someone cloned my card. I use my card online alot but its normally only on major websites. I would like to know which one it came from. It hasn't put me off buying online as your covered if something does go wrong.
