Why doesn't he also complain at Microsoft? People on MSN also send things to each other or "material of a greater violation degree"... hey, while we're at it... why not complain about: MSN, ICQ, CHATBOXES, ALL FORUMS, SHOUTBOXES ON SITES... hell, even talking & giving things to each other in real life!

The forum owner is asking others what he should do as a banned user on his forum is asking him to remove his posts or hes taking legal action. It states on the registration form...

As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database.

khisanthax, Why are you debating with the guy. Yes it is his own fault for posting the articles, but since he is worried that he is going to be the next Dan Rather..just take them off. Alievate your stress and his. Does your board traffic depend on his articles, if so..then maybe you should start a new board. Otherwise just take the them down. As a Board Administator you have a responsibility to act in favor of the public, not yourself. If people start becoming afraid to post because they can't have old material deleted when they are beginning to flourish as a writier, then people might not be incline to write quality content. Do what is best to enhance overall board reputation and quality control. Send the guy an appology for the delay, and delete them. If he does not become the next dan rather, he will probably come back and post them again. I do not know him or you, so take my response as a sincere one.

People like this need a bullet, and I would be happy to pull the trigger.
Ive been posting on their forums for about 2 years now and today is the first time ive ever had a go at anyone. Everywhere I seem to go these days there idots posting crap. The Steam Forums are just unbelievable.

I know, it's ridiculous. Probably 99% of new forum users join a forum to obtain one piece of information then probably never intend to visit again. Asking a simple question on a lot of forums will invite a response similar to "READ THE FAQ N00B.. FFS!!"

Rather defeats the object of having forums if you ask me..

Yeah (Read the F**king Manual). I post on alot of forums that they are based on a product, questions are the typical 'how do i install xxxxx?'. Useful for these types of posts.
