Virtual PC lets you create separate virtual machines on your Windows desktop, each of which virtualizes the hardware of a complete physical computer. Use virtual machines to run operating systems such as MS-DOSŪ, Windows, and OS/2. You can run multiple operating systems at once on a single physical computer and switch between them as easily as switching applications—instantly, with a mouse click.
A handy tool for testing. I use it to make a domain up for testing at home. I've added a pic so you can see what it is (Windows XP running Windows XP and Server 2003). Useful for testing Linux as well without buggering up your current Windows install. Used to be commercial software but for some reason is now free.
