View Full Version : Nokia N80
As I have done with the previous three phones i've had I have posted them on here.
Chunkier than the last phone I had. Got a nice screen on it with a decent 3 MegaPixel camera. Hopefully will get TomTom on it to replace my current PDA GPS system. Still getting used to the new menus that Nokia have made. Might take me a few days to work it all out.
Comes with a 128Mb Mini-SD Card. Might buy a 1Gb card and fill it with music. Got a decent Music Player on it. Shuffle etc etc. Comes with a dongle so you can plug normal headphones into it.
It's got WiFi inbuilt so good for checking emails off some unsuspecting home user when on the road. Again not tested yet.
I'll repost more as I find stuff out.

How did I know that you would be posting this!!!! :D
I work with SK and it is all that he has been going on about.
Shame the 3megapixel camera doesn't make him look any better.
I might just keep the N91.
Pfft.
Well I posted cause like I said. I've posted the previous two phones ive had. See here (http://www.gamerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=516) and here (http://www.gamerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=2910).

Looks nice. Is it more PDA like or is it a normal mobile. What are you able to do with Wifi inside? And how often do you get a new mobile in GB? We have to w8 2 years here :|

Alot more involved with office type applications yeah. Still not tested the WiFi yet, need to find a wireless network from somewhere. It's got some sort of flashing blue light on it when it's been idle for a period of time. I think its possible because the phone does a scan for wireless networks every so often and its the phone telling you its found something near by. I can't find anything in the manual to confirm this yet though.
Our contract is renewed every year, although this year its for a year and a half.

there u go, but i dunno wots the differnt between the razer v3, v31 and the v3x?
Nice looking phone, but it ends there. Everyone I know thats had one ends up hating it. Infact while I was at the shop there was someone arguing with the staff saying he want's to change the phone as the battery life on it is crap.
My personal hate with this phone is the software.

How much is the monthly money you have to pay fot the contract? In germany the N80 cost ~550 Euros without contract. Thats hell much. You tried Wifi yet? Are you able to surf through the web and get mails?
Nope not tried wifi yet. I logged onto an open wifi connection at the college but it wanted a username and password to get on. The web browser isnt too bad tbh. Seems to load quicker than my PDA does. The emails might be useful when I actually manage to get it all setup properly.
I don't pay the contract so not sure of the price. It's not stupid money though.
