As if not taking a 3 years olds life was enough;

Driver Mohammed Hussain, 26, admitted careless driving, having no licence or insurance, failing to stop and failing to report an accident.

Careless driving is an offence which does not carry a jail sentence.
If that's the case i may aswell go tenpin bowling on the road later and see many people i can kill with my careless driving. :rolleyes:

This kind of thing sickens me but the problem here is that British Law (I use the term loosely) is designed to aid the criminal and screw the victim. I was reading in a paper last week about a mother who wasn't allowed to erect a memorial for her murdered child because the local authorities said it might upset the murderers family :speechle: :confused:

Aye, and when they are jailed it isn't about punishment anymore. It's about "rehabilitation".

I bet most of them lead a more cushy life than you or I. (Collective. Not (just) Prom or I. :p )

lol vorm but yes i hav to agree that really is bad, i very nearly knoced down a 5year old on my pushbbike this mornign after a wommen stepout form behind a van and crossed over to the school iwas going a resonable pace and the road was wet hte womman was lucky that the brakes lockd and i skieed as the brakes on my bike are excellent in the dray but get very rubbish in the wet and wen come to a stop she just looks at me and says dont be such a ****ing prat next tiem, and i am like u were the one who didnt look, the whole raod safty thing with bikes is a good idea :D:D:D:D:D

in all honestly I hope somthing gets done about this case, what hes getting may aswell be a caution. Hes done time before so whats twelve (think he will even do that anyway?) paid weeks in a minor prison?
