Think Skype will become a vy big number. They have a lot of money to develope their program cuz eBay but em. :)

I've bought Skype credit. You can see where they are making extra money by the fact you pay for credit and slowly use it up. This means your money is sat in their bank account making interest for them.

I don't like this new way of merging Skype out contacts with normal Skype contacts. I would like to have two lists like it used to be. Seems you can't do that any more.

I added a new plugin/feature to the forums for Skype to take advantage of their WebStatus feature. It should now show when a user is online/offline. Sadly Skype seem to be having problems with their WebStatus servers (surprise surprise) so the only status you will see is "I'm not telling".

Also to take advantage of this users must be running at least v2.0.0.79. You also have to enable it in options.

Snub Skype!!!

Intel & Skype Snub AMD Owners:
Using Skype to make a conference call? If you are using an Intel processor you can have a 10-way call. Own an AMD processor? You can only have a 5 way conference call (http://news.com.com/When+Intel+calls%2C+Skype+listens/2100-7352_3-6036896.html?tag=nefd.lede). I am going to go out on a limb here and say that I don’t think AMD users will like this too much.

Intel's Core Duo and Pentium D processors have been designated the mass conference-calling processor of choice for Skype 2.0, launched last month. The limit will remain at five callers for PCs using single-core chips and Advanced Micro Devices' dual-core Athlon 64 chip, which some tests have shown actually outperforms Intel's dual-core chip.
