xbox 360 owns ps3 ( me thinks )

I've always loved Nintendo but have been swinging for the Playstation for a while now since it makes a change to play more adult games. Nintendo's fluffy animal and cartoony games don't keep me focused any more. I know they have started to catch up now but Sony were the first to take that step.

I can't comment on either of the Xbox's since I've never actually played one :D

I must say though if I was to look at a new console, it would have to be the Xbox 360. Why? Well all I have to say is... Perfect Dark 2.

yeah alot of people hear differnt things. i heared on gamer.tv that ps3 could not hold the good looking games they showed at e3 so they had to redo all of the looks for ps3 thats why its coming out later

Those, like me, who don't pee themselves with excitement when a new console comes out will probably wait until the PS3 comes out and then decide at the time which one offers the most.

At the moment, you can't really compare the two as, even though the PS3 specs have been released, nobody knows yet how the thing will run.

I personally prefer GoldenEye over Perfect Dark. I really don't mind playing any game made by Rare, their games have always been amazing packed with lots features.

Hm xbox360 have one advantage. It got an earlier release Date. I think the PS3 got more grafics power than the Xbox. And the Ps2 owned Xbox so i think PS3 will win the competition =)

PS3 will win easy. BBC did a show about microsofts Xbox 360 and showed adverts 2 kids. most kids didint even know there was an Xbox 360 but knew about the PS3. Even if the Xbox 360 is more powerfull. i think Dads and Kids will stick with what they know with Sony. TBH Microsoft sucked at promoting the Xbox and with the 360 its only a bit better. But the adverts for the 360 make no sence and dont really tell me about the console.

the only game i want 2 play is Perfect dark Zero but that dosent even have multiplayer its all X-Box LIVE. so if u have fun memories of 4 player Perfect dark with bots blastin the hell out of everything with your mates forget it.

not really a party machine with ya mates.

People are still even buying PS2s for there family or friends for christmas now when next-gen is apon us. maybe because of the eyetoy and sonys new "Fire it up" adverts. it seems 2 be working cus my sister who dosent even play games thought of getting it 2 play with her friends at partys.

Anyway, most games are underwhelming (except this (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/668/668593p1.html) one), so I'm going to wait, and see what's the best console to get when all three consoles are here. Maybe I'll buy a new PC instead (for the new Unreal Tournament and Oblivion).

the same as the first Xbox, first YEAR FREE!!!!!!!!!, the a payment of about 20 quid for about 3 months....but hey, the PS3 is already dead, HALO 3 IS RELEASED THE SAME DAY....!!!!!!!
