System Requirements are pretty much the spec of my system!
Downloading as I type this so can't tell how well it's going to run. This was released quietly. No warning of it being release, or was there?
Opinions of the level? Others ive read elsewhere seem to say its quite stunning to look at.

After it ridiculed my system specs, and was adamant that the level wouldn't run, it played fairly well. But then my card doesn't "do" HDR apparently.
The commentry thing said that they wanted to do a scene like the cliff-face bit in Half-Life 1 and that's what most of Lost Coast is based on.
It was very, very short but then it was only a tech demo.
It wasn't bad. Looked nice.

Just finished playing. I thought I was doing well to not loose any health at all until I realised that you can't actually get hit :(
Lovely looking game. The lighting in the church looked amazing. Sadly the FPS were not. Average was about 20fps I guess. I have everything set at high though and run at 1280x1024 so should maybe play with the settings more to get better fps. I think if a new game came out with HDR I would have to turn it off. Hard to react quick enough when your mouse feels soft like that.
I liked the commentary. Was interesting what they said about the water and how your computer is actually rendering 3 layers there.

Im downloading as we speak, i hear that this is just a demo as such to show you what the source engine can actually run within a game - unlike the video test feature.
Sound pretty cool, ill play it when it decides to finish :p

my comp cudnt run HDR (the bit where i was staring at a monotone orange window while the dude blathered on about the multiple renders was funny) but the level was very nice :D

Runs fine on my 6600GT. My only problem is its need for memory. It eats memory as a child eats candy, which made me come to the conclusion that it's time to upgrade to some sweet 2GB sticks.
