if you client dll has died I would try moving your maps,uninstalling then redownload sven and install from scratch. I cant offer any more advise :( but wait and see if anyone else has a better idea as mines abit time consuming.

and space consuming asd my ven folder is 3.1 gig :eek: and also i might add it only seems to of died sinse i tried to add a custom spray last night and this after noon this after noon using wally and yester day using the progrma hte bad girl tried to use ( but i didnt aply it to sven i apled it to cs)

wads and sprites to, you could also keep the read mes for the maps if you wanted.

i think i am sorted now i did it juist after i posted this morning and i played a quik game of sven and it worked :D

on the topic of errors, i've noticed lately that some of my Sci animations and things are quite fuxored :P dead sci's are standing up instead of lying down, and that sometimes the animations are just completly wrong ;( like instead of sitting down typing they'll be doing that scene from hl where the sci's fighting the head crab, and then one jumps on his head, in mid air ! and without any headcrabs >_<

:\ i'll put it as simply as i possibly can then, in Sven Coop, i've noticed that when theres supposed to be a dead scientist on the floor, instead of the body lying down it looks like the sci's standing up, and sometimes that when a scientist is supposed to do an animation... like sitting typing on a keyboard, instead of typing he'll be going through different animations like fighting a headcrab, or cowering in fear, or sitting down injured. anyone know what could have caused this? happened arund the time i installed the big map pack but since no-one else has had a problem i doubt its to do with it :P also since i cba to make a new post is anyone here good at modelling / porting models over from different games? :P

scientists always been vaguely bugged for me, but not as bad as you say :(

the sci's work fine for me, If I run a server though any ai doesnt do a death animation,they just stand there and fade away, some times they do half the animation,freeze and stay there the whole of the map.

i didnt expect anyone else to have the problem :P and it happens in almost every map, though i have actually seen one or two dead sci's who were actually dead :P
