The forums have just been upgraded to the latest version of vBulletin. Released less than an hour ago :p
I suggest you use this thread to do your testing in.
Might wanna check out this (http://files.vbulletin.com/3.5/ajax.html) movie for an idea of what use Ajax brings to the forums.
There are items that look like they don't appear to be working. I suggest everyone does a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5) to make sure you download updated pages from the site. This should fix any problems you find.

Quick reply box has to be activated now
Still, much easier to edit posts on the fly now.

Well spotted. Back to normal now.
Notice also how the whole page doesn't reload after you post. It just loads your post. Should save a bit on bandwidth :D
*Edit*
Woohoo I win with the first confimed bug (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs35.php?do=view&bugid=1422)...

/me brakes somthing and runs away and hides :p
there is a major problem with the full WYSIWYG avhdkdosjdddadfjadkvc editing controls, as in they dont work at all  as in advanced posting it would make the changes infront of you so you could see what was happening, but with it current state it feels like just the advanced editing :( and i hav changed it back saved it to enhanced again and it still dont work so it is kinda a bit bull

You can't edit thread titles after 5 minutes of posting anyway. Make a new thread and try it, delete it after though ;)

Ill increase time limit to 10 minutes.
Why not permanent? Isn't it easier than opening a post, clicking edit, then going to the main page again?
SK

Time limited on the title is not just an Ajax limit. The limit means that after 10 minutes you will never be able to change the topic again. Afterall why would you need to?
Cessle

yer you can change the tittle to fit the spam contained within :p
BadGirlDefender

the edit timelimit makes sense, otherwise someone reading back through topic might get absolute nonsense :(

For example, making a thread with only two pictures in it, then adding more the next day. The day after that, you add so many, you need to add a 56K warning. Or something. It's your decision of course, but wouldn't it be handier to make it permanently possible to change titles?

How often does that happen? I can think of 1 so far. Not bad out of 3000+ threads.

I just noticed also, that when typing in a user name (also in the advanced search page) into a new private message it looks at the first 3 letters your type and then comes up with members with them characters in their name. Quite useful.
