Minerva Mod: Episode 1

Single Player mod for Half-Life 2.

I can't quite work out anything about this mod, but then I haven't looked hard enough. I will download it and give it a play later on... if this new fan works on my 9800.

yeah i downloaded this the other day, i saw it on moddatabase, i only got the hl1 version i could not find the hl2 version,

i have to say it sucks

downloading now, looks cool, but the story confuses me. are you a scientist, or one of the seismologists, or a test subject, or the military or what?

From what i can tell you used to be in the resistance, but now your "working" (being forced more like :P) for a third party, whos intrested in the fall of the combine, but has different motives then the resistence, they seem to be almost like the G-Man but they have a more twisted personality.

i got thru the mod easily, apart from i cudnt find how to get into the central area =/ in the end, i turned grav to 25, jumped over the wall, then turned it back and carried on.

and ya, some sort of introduction to the game rather than just *ooh look, a helicopter....****! what weaps i got? shoot! run! argh!*

starting on hard mode was a mistake, i aws too relaxed at the start ;)

it made me panic a bit :) i was holding a glass in my hand and looking out the window ;)

and how do you get into the central area without gravhax? i checked the three doors, and i tried throwing nades and barrels etc thru the blue field to try and blow out its power supply etc =/

did you go down the lift? i didnt realise i could use it at first took me a good ten minutes of wondering around till i noticed the button ;)

u mean the lift inside the combine bit? and i noticed it fairly quickly, but only cos i was hyped from being chased by a load of elites :)

yeah go down there and deactivate all the forcefields and stuff :P
