Hey guys, since today I've got an unusual error... I've already tried to fix it but it did not work. At the moment I am backing up my entire Svenco-op map (and my fav mod NS) but I'm not sure about one thing.
If I uninstall steam, will it also remove everything in its directory? I sincerely hope not, because that'll only be a pain in the ass.
Hey, wait, maybe I don't have to uninstall steam... maybe one of you guys know a fix for this. There's more info HERE (http://steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75689).

Don't uninstall it, run the latest installer, and instead of install, choose repair. That should work... It works for me whenever I encounter trouble...

Could you link me the latest installer? I got one from the steam site (the one which is about 600 kb) but that one does not give me an option, it just installs steam.

Never mind, I'm already downloading a csinstaller (my steam install wizard needs it).

Go to your Steam directory and run UNWISE.exe. Then u will get three choises:
1st is automatic
2nd is custom
3rd is repair
Try it naigel :D

I am waiting for the download to finish. The REPAIR wizard needs that file!

I've got an idea: I'm going to send a letter to Steam and thank them sincerely for WASTING 3 HOURS OF MY LIFE!!!
The wizard could not use the file I downloaded somehow. Then I threw off Steam and reinstalled it with the small installer. And now the whole gay-ish system is down so I can't update and so I have to wait ... again ... longer...
This is really driving me insane *sigh* .
