[Help!] deleteing models

right in my hl2 folder not the half-life 2 folder theres a g-man modelfolder and by it theres a folder called materials that has in it a gman skin and a police skin (both I think are custom models but don't know) but what one do I delete the gman in the main hl2 folder or the gman in the materials folder?

please help :)

The offical models are all contained in the .gcf file for Half-Life. So if you have a model you don't want just delete the .mdl file. You'll notice that in mods like CS you dont have de_dust etc etc in the /maps/ folder.
