Important Community Game News etc...

As you are all aware we have been holding Community Games every Wednesday for quite some time now, playing a variety of different mods. Unfortunatly the turnout has been rather poor for some time now, therefore it has been decided to call it a day.

However, even though there will no longer be a poll to select the different mods, we would still like to have a weekly event of Sven-Coop given the majority of the community are Sven gamers. So every Wednesday will now be Sven-Coop 8.pm (UK time) 195.224.17.5:27016 Fight Club - www.thebanlist.com ....Community members only.

We will soon put a Watercooling into the Server and overclock it to 2Gig. That seems nearly impossible but impossible is my second name :p

Hmmm watercooling i like the sound of that, but wot if u still manege to frazle the chip we dont hav a sven server, and can i also rcommand u up the voltager to the cpu to get better stabilaty once u hav oc'ed it

The svencoop server will hopefully be updated soon, but please dont quote me on that. Other than this theres no other hardware to use as a server. Nothing powerful enough anyway. Oreo's offer seems the only possible solution for another server.

Any URL's for Jakin Bacon? Can't seem to find anything on Google, I am too lazy to dig harder.

I think the server should be an 'affiliated' server rather than an 'official' server. Since I won't be running the server myself I won't class it as official. I will list it and recommend it as an affiliated server though. That way Oreo you can run it as you wish.

Hl2 needs a min of 1.2 Ghz and since i dont have a pc less than 2.0Ghz i cldnt tell you ;D
its a Half-Life one mod ;p and steals things from HL2 :D

These are specs for the client, which displays graphics, etc...

Servers don't need as much ressources.

If you read the thread properly I think you'll find that Oreo is actually offering to host a server for Sven Coop Community games, not Jakin Bacon.... As we already have a Sven server .... u can work out the rest.
