Being a proud Brit i have no desire to lose the British Pound and have the Euro forced upon me. I feel it will take away our identity and heritage as we get merged into one big Europe :( What are your thoughts ?
This one is aimed really at the English forumites

Its not about things being easy, I think you'll find if you asked the British people the majority would want to keep the £.
Unfortunatly the decision is not ours (the public), its the government who have decided this without even consulting us.

It wouldn't make my life any easier because if i buy online i use a credit card and if i went to mainland europe i'd just get the currency i needed, easy.

Only thing I hated about the euro was that I had to get used to it. In the beginning I still thought in 'gulden' (guilders)...
Theres +'s and -'s for having the Euro. Personally I would like to keep the £ but know it wont be long before we join the club. Eitherway the government will continue take 3/4 of my money.
