Crash??

The server crashes a lot apparently. Cause? Solution? Anyone?

server seems to be very lagy today cause its always full (i really think 10 people is to much for this server, it even lagged like hell when it was full and there were lots of monsters in some maps) and i know it crashed a couple of hours ago by some one who was using the snark bug, then 1 hour later it nearly crashed by some one who was using the snark bug too....

Sven Coop has never been a stable mod. I’ve ran SC servers pre 2.0 and even then had the same results. The lag sometimes is caused by too many things going on at once. The server lags though regardless how many people are in there. When the server was running of my Cable modem there used to be major lag, and that was 4 players max. The processor is fine for running a small HLDS but not for this mod :(
I would upgrade but don’t have the money to do so. My PC at home is still offline which is mainly also down to lack of money.
The server is pretty much running at optimum settings atm, this poor PIII 700 wont go no faster.

i just seen the server on the server list, it was empty and it had a ping of 280! its 3pm uk time, is some1 uploading to the server or something? maybe some one is hacking the server?

Between 8am and 6ish the network is used by 40 odd business' and 40 wireless users. This of course means the network becomes quite busy. Sadly theres nothing I can do about this.

Someone will be downloading something across the network. It will be gone later. Like I said though this 4Mb line is used by a fair number of people.

I'm not talking about lag... I'm talking about serious crashes. The ping's just fine but still it crashes once in a while.

Svencoop always crashes. Every server I know has problems with servers crashing at random places.

If I got a job... something did not work out quite well so I don't have one... but if I do I'd like to donate some euros, not that much though :p .

Yep, we're still on the good ole English pound and that's how i'd like it to stay.
