remove bots from TFC servers?

ok bassicaly remove bots from TFC server yes or no?

PS i tried to make it a poll but it messed up due to the comptely diffrent system this forum uses.... so hel lwith that jsut put one or two

The "normal" TFC has attracted a few more players with the bots being on there.

I agree that there is no need for them on the "Fun" server and they get in the way but the two servers run off the same dir and we haven't figured out how to run the bots on one server but not the other yet.

Since the bots have been on the server the ammount of players joining has gone up ten fold. Being that you hardly ever if at all join the TFC server Barry why would you want them removed ?

The bots are a big help with the norm TFC server, they seem to be attracting ppl to join which is why they were put on there in the first place. The norm TFC server has been more active since the bot installation and at this moment in time they are here to stay.
I havent even really seen you on the norm TFC server Barry so I'm surprised this causes you so much concern.

The bots have helped. I would like to think they have given the server a 500%+ increase in usage. Ive found myself popping on there almost everyday. Before this I must have only been on the server once or twice in the 3+ months weve had it.

Shame we dont have a solution to drop them from the Conc server yet.

i hav only ever been on the TFC server once and that was before the bots nd it was totally dead or thre may of been a couple of people, o keep'em as i don't like tfc without pleanty of people preferably minuim of 12 people on a server or 8 to 10 at a push as it is just boring otherwise

lol to be fair i play TFC alot jsut not the banlist servers, GP3, Axl's and Jolt are my main hangout as theve always been there for years but joly are currently lacking in area49_3.... also we tried area49_3 and it crashed when we got to loading the first part. So i think its got a spercific install.

mainly im sick of every single TFC server reliying on Bots. Iv never liked em ever since POD or "Ping Of Death" there was a reason why they got called that.

I used to play TFC alot as i didnt have CS, then before WON ID stoped i stared to use steam andd stareted to play CS for 6monnths but then i got board of CS and turnd to sven and only in the last 3 or 4 weeks have i gone back to playing TFC when the sven serverr is full or has a load of nubs on it

plus the added problem of actuely getting on the sven server, i just dont like the bots habbit of being able to detect me instantely when im a spy its just plain anoying

You seem to be forgetting the reason the bots are there. They are just to help the server get started. When 6 people are on there, the server then has 0 bots. The bots are crap anyway, other than a great aim with the shotgun they arn't really a threat. Although the demoman does **** me off.

yer and if u are the only or 1 or 2 other players apart from the bots u get get 200/400ms ping, and thats on my 2mb broadband


so i actually change my decisction on stay or go, i think cut down the number of bots as then people will stay longer as they wont have rediculase pings

6 bots wouldnt cause any lag. 31 bots and 1 player would.

I would suggest that there is a problem with your ISP Cessle or you are downloading whilst playing on the server. My ping has always been low on the TFC server whether there have been bots there or not.

but then wen there are no bots my ping is averge, i will try and get a screen shot l8er if posible, but as far as i no me nor my borther were dl anything and if so i wud be up in the 1000ms region
