oooook now i know theres a mapping forum and this one sorta comes hand in hand with this.... il point out first of all every single HL & HL2 game i have is coustomised to the max with new spirtes, textures, models and animastions, never mind sound and skins. Soooooo instead of putting a bunch of cosutomiastions in random fourms or general anoucments, i was wondering if we could have a forum to post models, coustem sounds etc that we find acorss the internet as a kinda colelctive net, that way people can pic what they like and stick it into the mods they currently have.

you will prob need guides for isntalling as well, since DoD, TFC and CS: S have become a bit awkward to install things into since they went on steam.

other than that good or bad idea?

sounds good and then for each game make a sticky thread and just make the sticky for the posting of the mod and then ppls comments go in generally in that forum

Can do, but would it be used though? Maybe better if we made the Mapping forum a Mapping/Customization forum.
