i had WinXP pro, which a mate sent me (24hours download via MSN), but after a reformat i couldnt get it to activate correctly, so i went back to WinXP home. Never really noticed a difference between the two, so cant complain.

No warez!

Pro is geared more towards networking in an office type environment. Its only when you start to build something like this youll notice core components are missing. The biggest difference is you cant join a domain.

Iam using WinXP Pro and i like it its more comfortable than other OS. But most visuses coded for XP :(

XP Home, there really is no other choice besides XP Pro if you're into PC gaming.

dont care if u use XP pro your only gonna get what 1-5% difference you cnt even notice that that difference

I fail to see how there is any sort of processing difference between Home and Pro.

XP pro all the way :P although after i finish my cisco course i may move onto redhat if i manage to get my head around it ;)
