As I sit here in my pajamas taking a break from playing my brand new PSP... I realize that I can laugh at all my friends in the UK, because Im in america, I have a PSP... and you dont.

But I wouldnt do that... ;)

But what I will say is that it is the greatest portable gaming device I have ever seen. Better than the DS, and the gameboy and everything else is already dead when this thing walks in.

It is awesome, but there are no good games for it yet, and it's a tad too expensive for my tastes right now...

I'll get one as soon as they:

- drop the price
- release Gran Turismo 4 Mobile (a perfect port of the PS2 version)

RIDGE RACER is a good game out for it...

and yes I am wating eagerly for GT4. But I found on the PS2 that the handeling was just strange.

Strange handling is what I think of all racers. After you get the hang of it, it'll probably be great! And I never liked the RR series... Lumines looks fun though!

Howdee do...

I'm from the UK and getting a USA PSP in a week... Woo! I'm a bit stuck for games, it's a hard choice and I'm not sure!

I definately want Twisted Metal, but I don't know what to get out of Ridge Racer, Wipeout or Lumines! HELP?!

The DS is creative and fun but just not as hardcore as the PSP (IN MY OPINION)

lumines is strange to me so Id say either RR or Wipeout, wipeout has been hacked to allow internet browsing on the psp... however that means nothing to me...

That's amazing! I mean, the GT series has been out for YEARS, and MS has yet to release it's first game in the Forza series!

Sony copied MS years before they even had the chance to release their game! My God, Sony is a bunch of FILTHY THIEFS.

DS is nice, but it's no serious contest compared to the PSP.

PCs in general own all consoles... Gaming laptops (like mine :D) own even more





EDIT: however... I still love my PSP (down with the DS)

consouls are kind of for the kids/adults that cannot aford a pc I got my Xbox to play the best FPS on any consoul... Halo handheld consouls are good for if your going out for a vary long car trip or something like that desktops/laptops are good for any thing so all hail the PC!

The links though point to normal sized websites. Ideally they should point to sites designed for the PSP.

yeah I read about the net surging hack with wipeout pure, and all mobile sites, even the mobile bbc.co.uk (not sure of the link) would be great.

Sadly I dont have wipeout.

Also there is this tunnelinjg program that supports the xbox, ps2, gamecube, and now the PSP that allows for global online play. IE I can play with people over the internet. The psp has that functionality but no games have supported it yet, as far as I know.

I know you were talking about Xlink, but in my experience, it's crap. It can't even find my Xbox on my network, even though neXBC can on exactly the same setup, 1 minute later.
