Don't care what you say, I completely disagree with prosecuting Microsoft.
If you were in Microsoft's position and produced something, that it has procured sale agreements for i.e. PC manufacturers who want Windows as an operating system for their hardware. Wouldn't you be ****ed off if people started shouting because you have the market share of the business.
imho, if someone else wants to produce an operating system to compete against Windows *cough*Linux*cough* then go ahead, be my guest.
I think they are missing the point that most, software is now designed to work in a Windows environment. What happens when Microsoft release their "secrets" and other people design operating systems to run PCs. Are you going to have 5, 6, 7, 20 versions of each piece of software so that it runs cross OS.
Pffft, BAH, FFS, OMG!
rant!
Had a couple of glasses of wine.
Sorry
I totally agree. Its their OS, if they want to stick in some features then its up to them. Although I do tend to think you should be able to uninstall some apps. Like MSN Messenger in XP. Ive managed to cut it off totally but its still on the system. I wouldnt say its worth moaning over just to take a slice of their profit. Everyone moans at MS but who wouldnt like to be in Bill Gate's shoes?

It's a simple fact that when you're hugely successful everyone lines up to shoot you down.
Take The Sims for instance, still selling by the bucket-load and it's despised by the vast majority of the gaming fraternity.
