I dont know wtf is going on here but it would appear from this 18/03/04: Karoo users may be experiencing problems connecting to Quakenet IRC at the moment, since all .karoo.KCOM.COM addresses are G-lined (banned). This appears to be a 1 week ban, so access should be restored early next Thursday morning (if not before).
that I won't be on irc for a little while.
Going to look into this now but if anyone finds anything before I post back, let me know.
If I can't get onto IRC tonight, I'll see you all the server at 9 for TFC goodness.
Owned. PS make sure you read about the server move Pippa posted. Where did you get the info about the global G-Line?

If so, am I still logged in?

Is there someone at quakenet - or a quakenet room where I can find out why there's a ban in place?

This sort of thing used to happen alot back in the days of MS Chat and the way around it was to connect via a proxy server.
Dont find many proxy servers these days. Other way would be a BNC which is basically an IRC Proxy Server.
