Logo competition

Since Naigel brought up the idea of a new logo for the site I’ve decided maybe we should have a little competition. As usual the best will be used as the new site logo.

Rules:
Serious images only please
A maximum of 400 x 75 Pixels (You can use less)

Submit your logos in this thread. I will create a new poll on the 16th of October 2004 with the logos for public voting.

Not sure if it complies with the size restraints. First time i've tried to make anything in photoshop anyway.

uhhh... SK... you saw the new template... so idk if there's need for a logo, since i already made one. we do need a modo/slogan though.

I know I'm not around as much, but don't you worry, I'm still working on the site. I might have an even harder time doing it now because my parents are giving me a computer suspension time because I'm not responsible enough... So I'll try and say "hi" from time to time, and work on finishing the project as quickly as i can.

EDIT: If you guys really plan on making a logo, which would be pretyt nice to see http://thebanlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif please keep them under 250 px for width, and 60 px for height. Thank you.

The big problem with all those logos, although the fact that they are really splendid, is that it will be part of an actual design that is already set for the background and such...

So I think either we would have to change the design, which would be rather sad because it is a pretty nice one, and took me hours to make... or you guys could make logos on white background.

Here are the primary colors used for the design: #FFCC00 and #3366CC

I dont know it exactly but this logo competition looks more like a banner competition. Because 400*75 is Banner Size and i think its quiet nice to get some banners on a few Sites.

I'm not too bothered about making a logo for the actual website because without seeing the proposed design it's impossible to see the style you are looking for. You're only going to end up with something completely alien from the rest of the design and it'll end up looking like a dogs dinner.

Indeed, the boundaries do seem to have been blurred somewhat from the original concept. Certainly the designs I've come up with are more banner-esque rather than your average look-at-me-I'm-at-the-top-of-this-website logo.
