I've seen on a few GSPs that they have a server status monitor on their website i.e. Informs whether the server is up or down. Is this something that could be implemented on here at all ?

Theres a remote rcon tool ive been playing with in the past but it doesnt work properly, yet they made it version 1 (odd balls). Ive had a quick go at the ones your on about but they require some fine tuning which im unable to do.

When you say you are unable to do the fine tuning, do you mean because you don't know how or does it mean fiddling with the servers settings ?

i know php and i have done a server status thing...updates every 5 sec, but im going to improve it and host it on my site, so ull have to wait 4 that, but it will have stats 4 a mysql database full of ips and ports:)
info includes:
modname, no of players, server name, no of bots, os, ds or listen, ...

dont know...but a mydql database is better, faster(to use and make), can be updated from anywere...and, if u know the code(which i do), its easyer...

Reading from a text isnt as quick but its not like you would notice the speed. After all your loading maybe 2 lines of text from mysql or a text file. I was playing with this (http://kst.kaoticelites.com/?id=tool_1r) for remote rcon, this uses a text file to save server settings.

i was talking about haveing hundreds or even thousands of ips and ports, and it would be server stats, not rcon
