Since noone enjoyed my poem about cheese as much as I did :D I need help with somthing. When I download maps from the server that this fourm has. "Fight Club" it ussaly says that it cant open my.wad anny sugestions??

Heh I have another problem i have made a coustom spray but I dont know where to put it to spray it on sven coop can someone help out???

Put it in the svencoop directory. The decal has to be called tempdecal.wad. Join a server wait 10 seconds or so and test.

I have another problem with the new update I need to download the 420mb someodd package and it says its sending me a varivication email but it dossent come.. HELP ME!

I think the update broke his Steam so he downloaded the full client again and now he's waiting for the email validation.

Apparently it takes a while. There's a post on the Steam News website, I think.

It says do you wish to install a 420 mb update and you click ok and it says you have chosen to install the half life platnim pack. The yyou ckick okay and it asks sor a validacation code and it has the email you register steam with so i ckick okay and the email never comes.

I still played SC whilst waiting for my email confirmation. What it allow you to use Steam until you've put your confirmation code in ?

The only time Ive been asked for confirmation is when verifying my contact email address. Seemed to be pretty quick for me after the first few days of that steam update. If your still not getting anything do you have another email address you can try, could well be that email having problems?

Hey sk got another problem.... My friend made a deticated server and is trying me make me an admin. I dont know what to do but he does.....We have tried to use my Steam Id, My Ip basicaly I wanna know how you put the glow colours on people so he can do the same except make me an admin..... thanks

whats ur friend using? Adminmod or AMX?

He has to enable funmode if hes using Adminmod for the glow colours to work. Really need to know if its Adminmod or AMX. He should know how to do all this anyway :p

What is the diffrence between AMX and AdminMod??

They both do the same thing really, AMX is newer and currently more popular. I personally only see an upside to using AMX if your running a CS server as it has more features. I would use AMX on the SC server but it would break a few plugins I like that Adminmod has but AMX doesnt.

So what can he do to make me an admin cause we have tried 3 things uh.... Steamid Ip i cant rember what the 3rd one was.. I think he knows what he is doing because he got amx and hook on the server so... can you help??

I think you can actually leave the password out. If you dont have access then he clearly doesnt know what hes doing :)

Should work, and yes replace your_steam_id with your steamid :p
If he copies and pastes that into admin.cfg you should find that works (after he restarts the server). If not amx isnt working :)

Ok i think he just needed to restart the server and im an admin there now but thx for the help
